Description
This single-jointed D-ring snaffle is made from high-quality stainless steel in combination with flexible plastic. It is therefore stable and at the same time particularly soft and horse-friendly. The plastic has a hardness of 90A and is FDA-compliant. The material is thus free from solvents and plasticisers and also non-toxic. The bits can be used for all horses and are particularly suitable for young horses, horses with a sensitive mouth and horses that find other materials hard to accept. The bit has a soft action on the mouth. The mouthpiece is 18 mm thick and the bit rings have a diameter of 70 mm.?
A D-ring snaffle has D-rings that cannot rotate freely. Aids thus act more directly. This type of bit is generally well accepted because the mouthpiece lies relatively firmly in the mouth. Due to the D-shape the rider cannot pull the bit through the mouth and the horse remains easily steerable. This also makes the bit suitable for young horses.?
